Ergonomic Office Accessories

The increased use of computers over the years has lead to a change in the way we work in the office environment. This has raised health concerns over correct posture and time spent at the workstation. With this in mind Computer Furniture Warehouse have a range of ergonomic office products to help prevent muscle, joint and eyes problems that are associated with poor posture and badly designed working environments.

Monitor Arms & Stands

For many people most of the working day is spent working from a computer monitor, it is therefore important that it is set to a height and position that is comfortable, keeping the back and neck in a supported position, and at a good distance or so there is no excessive glare taking strain off of the eyes.

Our range of fully adjustable monitor arms come with either desk mounted or wall mounted attachments for single or multiple monitors. They can be gas assisted for vertical adjustment, and multiple joints allow for horizontal adjustment, allowing the user to define the optimum viewing position.

A more cost effective alternative can be found in our range of acrylic monitor stands. These are ideal if a raised position is all that is required for the monitor.

Laptop Arms & Stands

Portable laptops have recently become a useful tool for many in and out of the office, but due to their handy yet small size the correct working position can be difficult to achieve. A laptop arm can be an ideal way of raising the laptop to a good height to be used either with or without an external keyboard and mouse. The range comes as either wall or desk mounted units with multiple joints and arms allowing for optimum horizontal and vertical adjustment.

For a cheaper alternative then an acrylic laptop riser may be the ideal solution for you.

Ergonomic Workstation Seating

An inevitable part of any comfortable working area is the office chair. A good seating position offers essential support to the back, legs, buttocks, and arms, but with everyone being a different height, weight and shape how can one chair be right for all people?

Our ergonomic workstation seats are designed to be adjustable in all the key areas for comfort and support including raising and lowering height, back tilt and arm adjustment.

This Ensures that the backrest of your chair corresponds to the natural curvature of your spine providing enough support to the lumbar region, the seat is comfortable enough to allow your feet to rest flat on the floor or footrest, the armrestsallow your shoulders to relax and elbows to stay close to your body, and that it has a wheeled that allows it to move easily on the floor.

Foot Rest

An important part of correct seating posture is having somewhere flat to rest your feet on to allow blood flow in the legs and reduce fatigue. Sometimes a footbar attached to the chair is not enough and only aggravates poor posture, or the chair may not raise or lower enough for a certain individual to sit at the right height for their workstation and yet still have their feet flat on a sturdy surface.

This is where a fully adjustable foot rest can be of use, allowing for changes in height and tilt for maximum comfort for the user.

Document Holders

Anyone who has spent time changing from looking at a document placed infront of them on a desk to looking up at their screen will know how quickly this can cause a strain on their neck and back.

A good solution to this is the use of a document holder, not only do you get the benefit of a tidy desk space, but the reduced head movement either side to side or up and down means much less strain on the neck and back.
